Noel Gallagher, Kasabian and Jake Bugg have been announced to perform at a special a one-off gig for Comic Relief in London.

The 'Give It Up For Comic Relief' show, which will be held at Wembley Arena on Wednesday, March 6, will also feature performances from comedians Jimmy Carr, Noel Fielding, Eddie Izzard Frankie Boyle, Simon Amstell, Doc Brown and former One Show host Jason Manford. Russell Brand will host the show.

Other acts confirmed to appear on the bill for the fundraiser include Paloma Faith, Jessie J, Rizzle Kicks and Emeli Sande. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 7am tomorrrow (February 1).

"Comic Relief has funded work tackling substance abuse for many years," said Comic Relief CEO Kevin Cahill. "We were thrilled when Russell Brand offered to highlight the issue and raise funds to help tackle the problem. It's a perfect use of his celebrity profile to front the 'Give It Up for Comic Relief' gig and work behind the scenes to put it all together. He has played a blinder."

Gallagher, Kasabian, Brand, Blur's Damon Albarn & Graham Coxon are also set to appear at a series of gigs at the Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust in March.

Curated by Gallagher this year in The Who frontman Roger Daltrey's absence, Paul Weller, Palma Violets, Primal Scream and Ryan Adams are also scheduled to perform at the gig run which takes place from March 19-25. For more information head to Teenagecancertrust.org.
