Russell Brand and Noel Gallagher are set to host a one-off radio show on XFM tonight (March 18).
The pair became mates after Gallagher was a guest on Brand's BBC 6Music show before it was taken off air following 'Sachsgate' in 2008. The Xfm show will mark the first time the pair have recorded a radio show together since 2011 and will also see Brand's former 6Music cohorts Matt Morgan and Mr Gee involved too. It will be broadcast between 9pm and 12am.
Gallagher is currently promoting his series of Teenage Cancer Trust gigs, which consist of a run of seven nights of comedy and music put together by the former Oasis guitarist and will see performances from Ryan Adams, Kasabian, Paul Weller, Rizzle Kicks, Labrinth, Russell Brand and Noel Fielding as well as a rare performance by Blur's Graham Coxon and Damon Albarn performing together in support of Noel Gallagher.
