Noel Gallagher's daughter Anais is the star of a new advert for animal charity PETA.

The 13 year-old appears in the adverts dressed in combat boots, cartoon wings and a tutu alongside Mick Jones of The Clash's two daughters Ava and Stella. The campaign encourages people to report others to the authorities if they see somebody being cruel to an animal.

"We all know it's wrong to abuse animals, but it takes courage to speak up when we see an animal in trouble", says Anais Gallagher. "If you suspect that somebody's hurting an animal, be brave – tell your parents, a teacher, PETA or a police officer. You could save that animal's life."

A number of music stars have starred in PETA campaigns before with pop star Pink a particularly outspoke advocate of the work the charty does. The Anais Gallagher advert states that 'Cruelty Doesn't Fly With Us. Be an Angel for Animals' and was shot by photographer Pal Hansen.

Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher recently revealed that he turned down the opportunity to work with both Hurts and Miles Kane this year. The singer-songwriter was approached by both acts to work on their albums but Gallagher says that he declined both opportunities as he doesn't want to be working all of the time.
