NOEL COMES TO T Noel Gallagher Tickets
He also looks in his own signings Proud Mary...
NOEL GALLAGHER delighted fans at the T IN THE PARK festival in Scotland yesterday (July 7) by joining PAUL WELLER and earlier his own signings PROUD MARY onstage for impromptu jams.
The Oasis songwriter appeared alongside Weller to cover two Jam tracks, 'That's Entertainment' and 'A Town Called Malice'. Weller was appearing solo, headlining the second stage. Gallagher had earlier appeared alongside Proud Mary, performing the closing song of their set.
Rain was a constant of the day, turning much of the site, at Balado, near Kinross, into a quagmire. Stereophonics, David Gray and The Strokes were amongst those who appeared.
Organisers expect 100,000 people over the festival's two days. Despite the huge numbers, there has been relatively little trouble. There were 16 arrests at the festival campsite on Friday night (July 6) for what police called "minor assaults".
There will be a full review of the first day later today (July 8) on NME.COM.
