Tickets for Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' February 2012 UK and Ireland arena tour go onsale today (October 28) at 9am (BST).

The ex-Oasis chief will play seven dates on the tour, which kick off at Manchester's Evening News Arena on February 13.

The jaunt, which sees Gallagher play his biggest headline solo shows to date, will also take in a date at London's O2 Arena on the 26 before wrapping up at Birmingham National Indoor Arena on March 1.

Noel Gallagher went straight in at Number One on Sunday (October 23) with his debut solo album, beating off competition from X-Factor winner Matt Cardle.
