Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are set to release the brand new single 'If I Had A Gun…' on December 26.

The third track to be taken from Gallagher’s debut album, it will be released on seven-inch vinyl, CD and download and will be available as a digital bundle, which also includes the video. The B-side 'I’d Pick You Every Time' will only be available on the single release.

Yesterday Noel Gallagher hit out at brother Liam of Beady Eye, blaming him for Oasis' failure to truly break North America. He revealed that his brother bailed on the opening night of the band's US tour in 1996 after his then wife Patsy Kensit called and said that they needed to buy a house.

Noel went on to say that his brother's behaviour "killed us stone dead in America" and that he blamed him "for Oasis never becoming as big in America as we were in England".

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds tour the UK next year, with arena dates booked in February and September.
