Noel Gallagher played a seven-song set at tonight's (February 29) NME Awards ceremony as he celebrated being crowned Godlike Genius.

Gallagher, who earlier had picked up the award, kicked off his set with the classic Oasis B-Side '(It's Good) To Be Free' before launching into his solo single 'Everybody's On The Run'.

The guitarist then played solo cuts 'Dream On', 'If I Had A Gun' and his recent hit 'AKA…What A Life!'. He then closed his set with an Oasis double header of 'Half The World Away' and 'Don't Look Back In Anger'.

Noel Gallagher played:

'AKA…What A Life!'
'Half The World Away'
'Don’t Look Back In Anger'

Earlier in the evening, Kasabian kicked off the ceremony with a double header of 'Switchblade Smiles' and 'Days Are Forgotten'.

Florence And The Machine then took to the stage to perform a stripped down of their hit 'Shake It Out', with their singer Florence Welch returning to the stage a few minutes later to perform alongside future touring partners The Horrors on their 2011 single 'Still Life'.

A returning Pulp then wowed the crowd with a performance of their classic tracks 'Babies' and 'Mis-Shapes'. The band, who were honoured with the Teenage Cancer Trust Oustanding Contribution To Music award, dedicated the set to all those who saw them last summer on their reunion tour.

The Vaccines, who had claimed the prize for Best New Band, then blasted through their live favourites 'If You Wanna' and 'Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)'. The Maccabees preceded Noel Gallagher's appearance with a rendition of their recent single 'Pelican'.
