Bookmakers have slashed the odds on Noel Gallagher appearing on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Yesterday (June 7) it was reported that NME‘s Godlike Genius was approached to take part in the next series of the ballroom dancing show, but turned it down due to scheduling conflicts.
The Sun quoted him as saying: “I’m flattered. I’d have done it and all as I’ve recently mastered the sticky task of c***** while dancing. Sadly though, I’m a bit busy. Maybe next time… “.
However, this has not stopped bookmakers Ladbrokes from offering 5/1 odds that the singer will change his mind and enter the series. They’ve also offered odds on Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds to perform on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing at 20/1 and 200/1 odds on Oasis reforming for a special Strictly gig.
Noel Gallagher has a hectic summer of festival slots lines up, with sets at V Festival, Isle Of Wight Festival, Jersey Live and iTunes Festival, as well as his own arena shows.
