Oasis pair last met at a Man City football match a few years ago
The Gallagher brothers have had a tense relationship since the Britpop group’s 2009 split, with Liam recently criticising Noel publicly, calling him a potato, a toad, a “scary clown”, describing him as the “Ronnie Corbett of rock” and comparing his brother’s dress sense to that of Gary Barlow.
Now, speaking to the Toronto Sun, Liam recalled the last time he saw Noel in person, saying: “I think it was a football match in 2013 or ‘14. A [Manchester] City match and he was in one box and I was in another box. And I was in one floor and he was in the floor below me.”
Detailing what he did during their brief interaction, Liam continued: “I went into see him and I pinched his nipple and kissed him on the ear. I don’t think we spoke. I think he pulled one of his faces like he’s sucking a fucking lemon.”
In recent weeks, Liam has compared Noel to Hitler and Oasis to Jesus while calling Noel a “bread head”. Liam also recently opened up about his troubled relationship with Noel and revealed the one thing that’s stopping the long-rumoured Oasis reunion.
Meanwhile, Noel has described how he convinced Liam that he was being haunted by ghosts during their time in Oasis.
Earlier this month, bookies suspended betting on Oasis reforming in 2017, as talk of the band getting back together continued to gather momentum after the release of the documentary film Supersonic.
