'ELEVATION' FOR OASIS?

Reports indicate the heavyweight rock acts will join each other on a Euro jaunt this summer...

U2 and Oasis are reportedly set to tour Europe together this summer.

The two bands are lining up 30 European shows, according to this morning's (February 12) Sun newspaper. There are no plans for shows in the UK or Ireland. Dates and venues on the tour are to be announced in March.

However, a spokesperson for U2 told NME.COM that nothing had been confirmed about this or any other possible U2 tour for the summer.

U2 are set to appear at the Grammy Awards ceremony at the Staples Center in LA on February 27. They have been nominated for eight gongs, including Album Of The Year and Song Of The Year.
