OASIS have compiled a brand new album exclusively for NME.

The band, who are set to headline this weekend’s V Festival (August 20-21), have hand-picked their favourite support bands from their recent global tour and put them all on ’Oasis On The Road – World Tour 2005’ – available for free with this week’s issue.

Amongst the bands featured on the LP are The Futureheads, Coral, [/a], [a], Yeti and Secret Machines.

Speaking exclusively to NME, guitarist Noel Gallagher said: “How do we decide out support bands? If we’re into them. Simple as that. Liam and me will argue it out.”

The CD also includes a storming live version of The Who’s classic ’My Generation’ played by Oasis.

Gallagher said: “People keep asking us why we’re doing it live when we done it on the last tour – well, we’ve got The Who’s drummer (Zac Starkey) on this tour. He plays it properly like Keith Moon. We’ve kind of made it our own now.”

The full ’Oasis On The Road – World Tour 2005’ CD tracklisting is:
The Soundtrack Of Our Lives – ‘Confrontation Camp’
The Subways – ‘Oh Yeah’ (Live)
The Zutons – ‘Dirty Dancehall’
Jet – ‘Get What You Need’
The Stands – ‘Turn The World Around’
