BRIT Awards nominations set to be announced

The nominations for next month’s BRIT Awards will be revealed tonight (January 16) – and we’ll be giving you the full rundown on NME.COM.

Hosted by Russell Brand, this year’s awards take place at London Earl’s Court Arena on February 14.

Some of the nominated artists will be performing at the launch party tonight, which takes place at London’s Hammersmith Palais, including The Feeling and James Morrison.

Other acts strongly tipped for nomination include , Muse, Razorlight, Snow Patrol, The Kooks and Jarvis Cocker.

As already announced, the Outstanding Contribution To Music Award will be presented to Oasis.

Last year’s big winners included Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys and James Blunt.
