MTV broadcast a live set from Oasis' European tour last night (March 23).

The hour-long gig was held at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels and aired at 9pm GMT. The set featured two numbers from the chart-topping 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants' LP - the first single, 'Go Let It Out' and the next single 'Who Feels Love'.

Other numbers played in the strangely lacklustre set were 'Supersonic', 'Roll With It', 'Stand By Me', 'Wonderwall', 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and 'Live Forever'.

Liam appeared to be struggling vocally at times and engaged in a verbal spat with one member of the audience who challenged the band as to whether they are "mods".

"What's mod?" Liam asked the heckler. "C'mon, what's mod?"

Noel wrapped up the banter with the declaration, "Anyway, we're rockers!"

The programme, which was preceded by a half hour MTV compilation of old Oasis interviews, videos and live footage, will be repeated on Saturday 25 March at 8pm GMT.
