Oasis are offering fans a chance to win an opportunity to meet them and attend a private rehearsal session.

An internet mailout was sent to fans who have signed up to the band's official mailing list today (August 5) at the official Oasis website, giving details of the competition.

The mailout explains that fans who enter a draw can win an invitation to a rehearsal session the band will conduct on August 14 in London, during which they will play songs from their forthcoming new album, 'Dig Out Your Soul'.

The session will be recorded and may be broadcast in the future.
