Noel Gallagher has revealed that nachos are the reason Oasis aren't playing London's O2 Area on their UK tour, despite strong rumours to the contrary.

Oasis announced their 'Dig Out Your Soul' UK tour this morning, revealing they will play Wembley Arena in the capital and not the Greenwich venue as widely speculated.

The Oasis leader revealed that the cheesy fast food snack was why they're not playing the former Millennium Dome.

"You'll see the O2 isn't in there," he pointed out to Chris Moyles on Radio 1. "The O2, it's too corporate! I went there for Led Zeppelin - it was good, but there were people walking around with nachos, it's not rock 'n' roll!"

Meanwhile Oasis premiered their comeback single 'The Shock Of The Lightening' on radio this morning. You can hear it throughout the day on NME Radio.

So is Oasis' 'Shock Of The Lightning' any good?. Got to the NME blog now to check out what our reviewers made of Oasis' comeback.
