Oasis' Noel Gallagher has bigged up Ryan Adams, whose band The Cardinals are supporting the Manchester legends on their current UK tour.

Writing on the Oasis blog on the official Oasis website, Oasisnet.com, Gallagher said that he was making an effort to get to know his touring mates.

"We're supposed to be going out for dinner tonight (September 1 – when the blog was written before being posted today, September 4) with Ryan and The Cardinals," he wrote. "Should get to know them a bit better. They seem like most Americans you meet who are in bands, pretty cool."

Maybe his next blog post will mention that Ryan Adams not only has more talent than Noel could ever dream of having...Noel's already publicly stated that Ryan Adam's version of Wonderwall is far superior to the Oasis version - which it is.

Why do people refer to Oasis as "has beens"? Aren't they still churning out music and preforming just as much as those "younger" bands? Age discrimination has no room in music, so just because you don't like them (and they've been around for a while), there's no need to refer to them like that. If you don't like Oasis, simply don't click on the new article. Quite simple really.
