People have been making jokes about this saying it was funny and comments like “good”. I don’t think anyone would have been laughing had it been more serious . Whether you like Oasis or not, this guy is a fuking looser and should have the book thrown at him. At 47 years old as well...what a complete looser....I hope the Oasis boyz beat the shit out of him...

He's 47??????? Wow, a loser too. Any time you're jumping on stage and you're older than the band, you need to strap on a speaker and become a burnt out roadie or something. What a fool.

I'm glad NME at least put 'attacker' in single quotes. It wasn't so much an "attack" as a guy who was probably getting paid a hundred bucks by his drunk buddies to climb on stage, do something stupid, and crowd surf on out of there. Not sure why these people think they can make it past the 20 or so big guys with "SECURITY" on the backs of their shirts, but I guess that's why the moron ended up in court. He's not an attacker, he's an idiot.

I hope they throw the book at him, but in the end I think Oasis should probably thank him. In America this was the most attention they've gotten since the first week Be Here Now came out. My hometown paper(Atlanta) had this on the front page of their websight and Rolling Stone and Spin put this on their websites front page. Of course, they suck and hope NME America takes them over, but that's a lot of exposure. Anyway, The Shock of Lighting was the 15th most played song Alternative Rock format song in America last week and that's not counting spins after the attack.http://www.usatoday.com/life/music/airplay-charts.htm#alt

What the fuck is wrong with people sayin well done to that sullivan geez. Whether you like someone or not you dont start congratulating people on doing something thats fucking stupid and dangerous. Noel is who he is, and never deserved that. Wanky Sullivan will get it, from someone, if he already has'nt had a hiding. HOPING NOEL IS OK, WE ALL KNOW IT WILL TAKE MORE THAN THAT TO PUT OASIS OFF THERE GAME
