Oasis may sue the organisers of the abandoned PALEO FESTIVAL in SWITZERLAND over comments describing the band as "arrogant and provocative".

As reported by nme.com yesterday (July 27), the festival organisers slammed Oasis - who left the stage on Wednesday night 30 minutes into their set after reportedly being pelted with bottles and coins - claiming the "arrogant and provocative attitude of Liam Gallagher had undoubtedly influenced the audience's attitude".

But the band's management company, Ignition, are reported today to be poised to take legal action. In a statement reported on a UK website, a spokesperson is quoted as saying: "We are taking legal action against the organisers of the Paleo Festival as a result of their outrageous remarks levelled against the band following their curtailed performance at [the] festival."

Meanwhile, the organisers of the festival are reported to be demanding the return of #66,000 which was paid to the band for their appearance.
