Oasis' Noel Gallagher has given an update about how he is recovering from the rib injuries that caused the band to cancel a slew of live shows.
The group postponed a series of shows after Noel was assaulted in Toronto earlier this month.
Gallagher said he had been back rehearsing with his band after the injury. "I'm on a lot of painkillers at the moment," he told Oasis' Noel Gallagher has given an update about how he is recovering from the rib injuries that caused the band to cancel a slew of live shows.
The group postponed a series of shows after Noel was assaulted in Toronto earlier this month.
Gallagher said he had been back rehearsing with his band after the injury. "I'm on a lot of painkillers at the moment," he told Absolute Radio Breakfast Show DJ Christian O'Connell. "The trouble with painkillers is they're only fun when you're not meant to be on them. When you're actually in pain they just take the edge off it.
"The doctor said that at my age it should take about another four weeks to heal. It's making me walk and stand different though 'cos of the pain. I've been rehearsing though, so I know I can do the rest of the tour."
Oasis are set to kick off their UK tour at the Liverpool Echo Arena on October 7.
