Oasis have announced details of their first 2009 'super-gig'.

The band will play Slane Castle in Ireland on June 20, a venue they last played in 1995 when they supported REM.

Tickets, which are limited to eight per person, go on sale on October 24 at 8am (BST). The venue can cater for up to 100,000 fans at gigs held there.

Oasis previously announced they are to play a 'super-gig' in Manchester, but refused to reveal which venue the show would take place at.
