Oasis have revealed that Reverend And The Makers, Twisted Wheel and Rhys Ifans' band The Peth will play support slots for them at their forthcoming stadium gigs.

Reverend And The Makers will support the band alongside The Enemy and Kasabian at Oasis' shows at the Sunderland Stadium Of Light (June 10), Edinburgh Murrayfield (17) and London Wembley Stadium (July 9, 11, 12).

Twisted Wheel will play support slots at Manchester Heaton Park (June 4, 6, 7), while The Peth will play support at the Cardiff Millennium Stadium (June 12).

Speaking about bagging the support slots, Jon 'The Reverend' McClure told NME.COM: "When I was 12 and only listened to ragga, Oasis came out and spoke my language. To be asked by Noel to support them shall be an honour. The way Noel Gallagher treats younger musicians coming through is fucking brilliant.

"Oasis mean something in people's hearts in a way half of the shit indie bands now could only dream of. Fucking good evening Wembley."
