V Festival Chelmsford sells out in two hours

Final tickets for Weston Leg availble via NME.COM

V Festival's Chelmsford site has sold out of tickets in two hours, according to organisers.

Only coach packages now remain for the southern leg.

Plus only the final few tickets are available for the western leg at Weston Park, after they went on sale at 10am this morning (March 6).

"We're really pleased that despite these uncertain times V Festival has clearly been embraced once again by music fans looking for a great weekend of entertainment," said festival director Bob Angus. "It's a fantastic endorsement of the format of the festival and the strength of this year's bands set to perform."

To try to bag one of the last available tickets head to NME.COM's ticket shop, where we have an exclusive allocation of V Festival tickets on sale now.

V Festival 2009 is being headlined by Oasis and Killers - see NME.COM now for the the V Festival line-up so far.

News flash: The world's most boring bands headline the world's most boring 'festival'. Attended by the world's most boring 20-30 something Topshop Hollyoaks XFM nobheads. Still, if the weather's good that weekend, I might finally get around to painting the side of the house.

Did it really sell out? Check e-bay and tell me it sold out. The touts win again!! Time to ban music ticket touting like they have for football. I don't want to go to V but i don't want to see people that do lose out because of touts.

Piss off you lot, Mickey's right. V is the lowest you can stoop, festival-wise.

I'm the worlds biggest Oasis fan but Mickey you have hit the nail on the head. After V last year I vowed I would never go again. Overcrowed, overpriced and full of absolute chav good-for-nothings! Even Oasis couldn't lure me back, why o why couldn't they have played IoW - We put this festival on you bastards, with a lot of love!

Haha, Mickey is spot on. All you V lovers need to get out more. Only chavs, socially inept losers and shallow wannabes go to V.

Oasis and Ocean Colour Scene at any festival is a good thing. All it needs now is Weller...

Agree with you Mickey - as corporate a festival as you can get.

God you all sound like each other. Typical NME readers. Every festival is corperate, every band is corperate. Get over yourself.

exactly Ourkid. people think that Glasto or isle of white are real festivals because of the kooky people that go there the matter of the fact is that you paid for your ticket ie. money in the hands of the corperations. Music is for everyone to enjoy Mickey be they chavs punks emo's or indie kids, and we all know that there has only ever been one real music festival ever (Woodstock incase you didnt guess). That is why it was free. So shut your mouth open your ears and feel the power of the music, and most importantly have a good time!!!!
