Liam Gallagher: 'I'm gutted about Oasis' split'

He also takes a swipe at Noel Gallagher for dressing 'like Liz Hurley's son'

Liam Gallagher has spoken again about Oasis splitting up, admitting he's "gutted" the band have come to an end.

Last week, the singer said that "Oasis is no longer" , after Noel Gallagher quit the band in August, and has now told the Daily Mail that he still can't bear to to speak about the split in-depth.

"It's only just been a month and I have to sit down and work it out because as far as I'm concerned my comments would be on my musical headstone," Gallagher said.

He added: "But I'm gutted. I love being in Oasis. When I'm ready, you will hear my side of the story."

In the interview – which saw Gallagher speaking about his clothing label Pretty Green – he also takes a swipe at Noel Gallagher's fashion sense.

"He dresses like Liz Hurley's son," Gallagher said. "He's on the posh vibe. Loves a cardigan and all that. He had some of the Pretty Green gear when we were almost on speaking terms, but I don't think he's happy about it. A few of my mates were backstage wearing it and he was like 'Why are you wearing that?' And my mates were like 'Cos you bloody can't'. What does he know anyway? His fashion sense is massively overrated."

Gallagher went on to reveal that he has given up drugs in order to become a better father.

He said: "I've knocked all that [drug use] on the head since last November. I'll have a drink now and again. But not for the time being – I'm having a rest.

"You must remember, though, that I've caned it for 20 years and not just on the sauce but with all sorts. I've had a great time and now I'm having a break. It doesn't work with kids, man. You wake up the next day after a session and you're looking for bits of your kids' homework and football boots. You're all over the place – it's rubbish."

It's about time Liam is starting to relize that he has other responsibilities and about time to knock the whole 'hard manc man' look on the head. Don't get me wrong Oasis are my number 1 and will remain there. But a leaf out of Noels book and actually doing something else could be the way forward for both of the brothers, rather than slagging one another off.I think i speak for everyone though when i say Noel's solo stuff will be one of a kind.

I might buy a pair of 'Pretty green' jeans and really live the lifestyle of an overated, average singer but I won't forget to give up the drugs when I have made all my money to now live an honest lifestyle and bring up my kids. This guy is a textbook rockstar.

Liam's mates wear his pretty green clothes!!!???? lol what a bunch of freeloading ass wipes. If my mate designed clothes, no matter how good they were, i wouldn't be seen dead in them...it's what being a proper mate is all about!

i totally agree with jams333, and ive been saying this for years. liam should drop his hard man act, and grow up and be himself.. but liam gallagher is far from dumb, he is a natural genius.. he has far more talent than noel.. but he has to stop acting like a bellend and stop being a pussy and just be a nice guy cause more people will like him for it..
