Liam Gallagher has revealed that his post-Oasis group will have a new name.
In an interview, the frontman who expects to have a new album released by July, explained how he didn't like the moniker anyway.
"No, it's not Oasis, that was a shit name anyway," Gallagher told radio station Xfm. "I'm glad to see the back of it."
As for the name of the new band, Liam remained tight-lipped on what the group is going to be called.
He stated: "There's a name that we're digging at the moment, but we're going to get on with the music and see how it goes."
Meanwhile, Liam's brother and former bandmate Noel Gallagher is set to play his first post-Oasis gigs in March for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
