NOEL GALLAGHER and KELLY JONES will appear as special guests on the next album by THE BLACK CROWES, NME.COM can reveal.

Both Gallagher and Jones have recorded guest spots on the Crowes' as-yet-untitled sixth album, due out at the end of April through V2. It's believed the two visited the Crowes at their New York studio, where they are working with legendary producer Don Was. It's also heavily rumoured that rock legends Bob Dylan and Jimmy Page have worked on the new album. For the full story, see this week's NME, on sale today (November 14) in London and the rest of the UK tomorrow.

Gallagher and Jones are self-confessed Black Crowes fans. Jones played with the band last June at a private party in London and then later on in the year at Wembley at an Aerosmith-headlined rock extravaganza.

Oasis and the Black Crowes have announced plans to tour the US together early next year. No dates have been confirmed as yet.
