Oasis, Queen, Beatles, Adele shortlisted in poll to find UK's favourite Number One single

John Lennon, Abba, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston also make the shortlist

Oasis, Queen and The Beatles are among the artists who have made the final shortlist of 10 as part of a new poll to find the UK's 'Favourite Number One Single'.

The poll, which has been carried out by the Official Charts Company, asked people to vote for their favourite UK Number One single of the last 60 years and it has now revealed its top 10.

Among the singles in the Top 10 are Oasis's 'Don't Look Back In Anger', Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody', John Lennon's 'Imagine', Michael Jackson's 'Billie Jean' and Adele's 2011 Number One 'Someone Like You'.

The other singles are Abba's 'Dancing Queen', Britney Spears' 'Baby One More Time', Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You', The Beatles' 'Hey Jude' and Kylie Minogue's 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head'.

The vote now continues, with the eventual winner being crowned later this summer. You can cast your vote in the poll at ITV.com/nationsfavouritenumberone.
