Two dog breeders in Finland have named their new kennel after Oasis' 1995 album '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?' and are planning to name their first litter after songs by the band.

Ville Kormilainen (pictured above) and his partner own the Glory Morning kennels in Helsinki and were awarded the name by the Finnish Kennel Union earlier this month. The original plan was to call the kennels Morning Glory but that title was already reserved.

Kormilainen explained to NME that now they have the name for their kennels they plan to have a litter of labrador retrievers in 2015 and will name them after their favourite songs by the Manchester band. Prospective choices include 'Rock'N'Roll Star', 'Live Forever' and 'Champagne Supernova'. The breeder says, however, that the names must fit each puppy and that "it is way more difficult to find girls’ names from Oasis songs".

Oasis have been Kormilainen's favourite band for over 15 years and he feels that the attitude of the band is the same needed to "raise some kick ass dogs." He has not yet reached out to either Liam or Noel Gallagher about the dogs. "It would be great to hear some of the comments from the guys about this idea. I certainly think that a cute labrador puppy will melt even a rock'n'roll star's heart."
