Eminem’s pal comes under attack while driving in Detroit

Rapper Obie Trice has been shot while driving in Detroit.

The Eminem associate was wounded after his car came under fire on the Lodge Freeway in the early hours of December 31.

Shots were fired at the back window of Trice’s car from another vehicle, ABC News reports.

The rapper managed to continue driving and pulled off the freeway before stopping. His girlfriend, who was in the car but was uninjured in the incident, then flagged down police.

Trice was later treated at Detroit’s Providence Hospital and was subsequently released.

The shooting is now being investigated by state police, there are currently no suspects.

Trice who is signed to Eminem’s label Shady Records, released his debut album ‘Cheers’ in 2003.
