WATER PERFORMANCE!

OCEAN COLOUR SCENE debuted brand new tracks at a small, secret gig at LONDON's 100 CLUB last night (February 20).

The show, for fanclub members and competition winners, was a warm-up date for the band's upcoming UK tour, which begins on February 26 at Stoke's Trentham Gardens.

Wearing his trademark navy and white striped shirt, singer Simon Fowler said little during the band's set except to inform the sold-out crowd: "We're gonna play some songs tonight
off the new album," before going on to play eight new tracks, all taken from their forthcoming fifth album, 'Mechanical Wonder', due for release on April 9 through Universal.

These were: album opener 'Up On The Downside', 'In My Field', 'Give Me A Letter', ballad 'Biggest Thing', title track 'Mechanical Wonder', 'Sail On My Boat', 'You Are Amazing' and 'Can't Get Back To The Bassline'.

The band also worked through a host of fan favourites, including 'The Circle', 'Profit In Peace', 'The Riverboat Song' and 'The Day We Caught The Train'

They band played no encores.
