Odd Future played a surprisingly trouble-free set at Reading Festival this afternoon (August 27) – leaving rapper Tyler, The Creator to joke that he felt like he'd been "molested" by a crowd member during a foray into the audience.

The controversial collective were bottled when they played T In The Park in July – and hit back at the Scottish crowd then by bottling them back.

But the troupe, who aren't playing Leeds Festival tomorrow because Tyler is heading to the MTV VMA Awards ceremony, were greeted by cheers and chants of "Wolf Gang!", rather than the rough treatment that many had predicted.

They even had to stop the set at one point after Tyler climbed into the crowd and could not fight his way out. After he climbed over the barrier he joked: "I hope it was a girl who grabbed my dick, it probably wasn't, I feel like I've been molested."

Odd Future rifled through 14 tracks during their 45-minute set, with 'Everything That's Yours', 'Fuck The Police' and 'Sandwitches' all given airings. They were forced to cut their set short after previous acts overran, with Tyler moaning: "I'm pissed too, I'm enjoying myself up here."

"Thanks London, suck my dick," he later declared before closing the show.

The Strokes and Pulp co–headline the Main Stage this evening, with Glassjaw, Crystal Castles, The National and Jimmy Eat World also set to play the bash today.
