Odd Future given their own reality TV series 'Loiter Squad'

Show is set to be produced by the makers of 'Jackass' and will be shown in 2012

Odd Future have been given their own reality television series, which is set to begin airing in 2012.

The series, which is set to be titled Loiter Squad, will be shown on cable channel Adult Swim from early next year.

The show will consist of 15-minute episodes, which will feature the Los Angeles rap collective performing sketches, man on the street segments, playing pranks and performing some of their tracks.

The show is being put together by Jackass producers Dickhouse Entertainment, which consists of Jackass stars Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine as well as director Spike Jonze.

Odd Future were in the UK as recently as the end of last month for a well-received set at Reading Festival. They are currently preparing for an extensive North American tour, which will see them play 27 shows across the continent in just under two months. The trek kicks off in San Diego on September 28.
