Odd Future's Tyler, The Creator has revealed that the rap collective's new album 'OF Tape Vol 2' will be released on February 20.

Previously, it had been reported that the LP would drop in March, but the controversial hip-hop star used his Twitter account to discuss the new release details and also post the album's artwork (pictured below and to the right).

"OFTAPEVOL2. IN STORES ON THE 20TH!!!!!" he wrote. "ALL NEW SHIT FROM ME FRANK HODGY LEFTBRAIN DOMO MIKE G AND UH… HOPEFULLY… YA KNOW."

It appears unlikely that Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt will appear on the album, however, with Tyler adding:
Sweatshirt Will Not Be On The Tape. Not Trolling Either.

Previously, the rapper had told fans that Sweatshirt, whose real name is Thebe Kgositsile, had returned from his stint at the Coral Reef Academy on the South Pacific island of American Samoa, but later revealed it was a hoax.

The album will be just one of a slew of Odd Future-related LPs to be released this year, with Tyler, The Creator's 'Wolf' – the follow-up to last year's 'Goblin' – set to drop in May. Fellow Odd Future member and singer Frank Ocean is also planning on releasing an album this year, while Mellowhype – the side-project from Hodgy Beats and Leftbrain – are expected to release a second record in 2012.

Tyler, The Creator was arrested and charged with vandalism in December 2011 after he allegedly trashed sound equipment at Odd Future's Christmas show at the Roxy in Los Angeles.

The rapper later defended himself against the allegations by claiming that he had been trying to draw the attention of the venue's security staff to two injured female crowd members, and had become frustrated that no member of the security team seemed to be attempting to help.
