Odd Future confirm they are recording with Kanye West

Kanye West has been recording with Odd Future, the rap collective have revealed.

The group, who release their new album 'OF Tape Vol 2' on March 19, posted a series of pictures of them in the studio with West on their official blog Golfwang.tumblr.com, with key members Tyler, The Creator and Frank Ocean both pictured.

The pictures show the rappers surrounded by assorted instruments as well as West in the midst of a vocal take. You can see a picture of West recording on the right of your screen.

Neither West nor Odd Future have given any comment about what the recordings were for or when they are likely to be released.

Odd Future will play a handful of tour dates in the UK and Ireland next month. The gigs kick off Birmingham's O2 Academy on March 28, and end on April 2 at Dublin Olympia. The run also includes shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow.

Kanye West debuted the video for 'Niggas In Paris' from his 'Watch The Throne' collaboration album with Jay-Z online last week (February 9).

It had been rumoured that West would be in Shoreditch, London to attend the video premiere, after representatives for the hip-hop star distributed an image of a street map of the east London location and hinted that an unspecified event would start at 5pm. However, while the video was shown, West did not show up.
