Despite warrants for his arrest on both US coasts, fugitive rapper OL' DIRTY BASTARD sensationally joined his WU-TANG CLAN bandmates onstage in NEW YORK last night (November 21), the first time he has been seen a month after he disappeared fleeing from a drug rehabilitation programme in LOS ANGELES.

The star breached a heavy police presence outside the Hammerstein Ballroom, to climb onstage saying: "I can't stay on the stage too long tonight - the cops is after me." He stayed to run through 'Shame On A Nigga'.

According to, Wu Tang leader RZA introduced ODB, real name Russell Jones, as a surprise guest, adding: "For the first time in three years, you see the whole Wu-Tang Clan onstage tonight."

Aside from the warrant issued by Los Angeles police, ODB is being hunted on separate charges by police in Brooklyn and Queens.

Wearing a distinctive orange parka coat, the star added: "You know, the whole fucking world is after me. Y'all know, I'm still surrounded," he said, before adding that he planned to become "like a bird" and to live on "birdseeds or whatever".

At 12.30am (EST) the police had no record of arresting the rapper.
