Olivia Newton-John sues over ‘Grease’
She claims she is owed over $1 million
Olivia Newton-John is suing the makers of ’Grease’, claiming she is owed more than $1 million (£507,000).
Newton-John, who starred alongside John Travolta in the 1978 hit movie, claims that she is owed the money from the ’Grease’ soundtrack.
Her lawyer John Mason said the film company Universal failed to make this and other contractual payments. However, the film company said: ”The lawsuit is without merit.”
The breach of contract lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
