The indie hopefuls sign to Rough Trade...

OH, MAN!

OOBERMAN have signed a new record deal with ROUGH TRADE, and will tour the UK in DECEMBER.

Ooberman, who parted company with Independiente in the early summer, will release a new single, 'Dolphin Blue' on December 11 via Rough Trade.

The single will be backed by two new tracks, 'C'est La Vie (C'est La Meme Chose)' and 'Laughter Lines', as well as a live version of 'Dannyboy' across the formats.

In addition the group will tour in December to accompany the release. Ooberman will play:
Middlesbrough Arena (December 8)
Leicester Princess Charlotte (9)
Leeds Cockpit (10)
London Garage (12)
Liverpool Lomax (13)
Sheffield University (14)

Ooberman's second studio album is almost complete and is scheduled for release in Spring 2001.
