Doctor Who makes surprise appearance with Orbital at Glastonbury 2010
Doctor Who's Matt Smith made a surprise appearance with Orbital tonight (June 27), as Glastonbury reached its climax.

The actor joined the duo on the Other Stage as they covered Doctor Who's iconic theme during their set.

Smith rallied the crowd, encouraging them to cheer before Orbital launched into a heavy version of the track.

His appearance came just after the current series of Doctor Who reached its conclusion on BBC One the night before.

NME will be coming live from Glastonbury throughout the weekend. Head to NME.COM/glastonbury for the latest festival news.
