Video: Orbital - 'Wonky'

Comedian Mat Horne is killed by a bunch of crazed cats in the video for Orbital's new song 'Wonky' – scroll to the top of the page and click to watch.

The promo, which was also produced by the Gavin And Stacey star, sees him haunted by several living pictures of felines – on items such as pet food boxes, a newspaper and a mug – before he is driven out of his own home and eventually run down by a car driven by a moggy.

Speaking about the video, Horne said: "It was an honour to produce, co-direct and then star in the video for 'Wonky'. Orbital are my all time favourite artist, so when the opportunity arose it seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to work with an artist I love and put my non-acting skills to the test.

"I've recently started a production company called Ruffian Films and my production team and I came up with the concept. We channeled the darkness and humour that the band embody with their music and turned it into something visual and fun!"

The track will feature on the band's new album, also titled 'Wonky', which will be released on April 1. It will be the dance duo's first LP since their 2004 effort 'Blue Album', and was recorded in Brighton and mixed by Depeche Mode/U2 knob twiddler Flood.

It is the pair's eighth studio album and will feature collaborations with Zola Jesus and UK MC Lady Leshurr. It is available for pre-order now from iTunes and HMV.

Orbital will tour the UK in support of the album in early April and play six shows. The trek begins at Manchester's Academy on April 5 and runs until April 10, when the duo headline London's Royal Albert Hall.
