The band have axed their Euro Festival appearances due to "an urgent family health problem"...

ORBITAL have issued a statement apologising to fans for having to cancel their festival appearances in GERMANY and HOLLAND last weekend (June 2-3).

In a statement on the website www.loopz.co.uk, the band also confirmed that forthcoming gigs at festivals in Greece, Sweden and Bulgaria have also been cancelled.

The brief statement reads: "Orbital wish to convey their apologies to their fans at cancelling their European performances. This is due to an urgent family health problem beyond their control."

The shows affected are:
Nurnberg Rock im Park Festival, Germany (June 2)
Pinkpop Festival, Holland (3)
Hultsfred Festival, Sweden (15)
Athens, Greece (20)
Festivalna Hall, Bulgaria (22)
