Canadian band call it quits after 5 years

The Organ have announced that they breaking up after five years together.

The band announced they were calling it a day via Theorgan.ca yesterday (December 7).

Explaining their decision, the band wrote: “We are sad to announce that we’re breaking up. We want to thank our friends, fans and family for all the support you gave to us. Thank you."

As previously reported,, the five piece from Vancouver cancelled their appearance at this year's Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals blaming it on the illness of a band member.

The band released their only album ’Grab That Gun’ in 2004.
