OutKast : The Film gets release date

It’s coming soon

Outkast’s first film ’Idlewild’ is set to be released in cinemas on September 8.

The film, which is set in the 1930’s, tells the dual tales of a club piano player played by Andre 3000 and a club singer played by Big Boi.

As previously reported by NME.COM, as well as the OutKast duo, the film features Oscar nominee Terrence Howard and singer Macy Gray.

It has been directed by long time OutKastcollaborator Bryan Barber.

The album ’Idlewild’ is released on August 21. The first single from the album, ’Morris Brown’, comes out on September 4.
