OutKast collaborator arrested
On drugs charge
OutKast collaborator Lil’ Wayne has been arrested on drugs charges.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter was accused by police of being in possession of several unnamed drugs when apprehended in Atlanta on Monday (August 14).
He was released on $11,000 bail on the same day.
Lil’ Wayne is featured on OutKast’s new album Idlewild on the track ’Hollywood Divorce’ along with Snoop Dogg.
As previously reported by NME.COM 'Idlewild' is set for release on August 28.
