‘Idlewild’ won’t be out in September after all
The release of OutKast’s film ‘Idlewild’ has been delayed again.
The film, previously due to be released on September 8, will now be out in the UK on October 6.
Andre 3000 and Big Boi star as jazz musicians in the film, which is mostly set in a 1930s speakeasy.
'Idlewild', also featuring performances from veteran singer Patti LaBelle and Macy Gray, was written and directed by Bryan Barber, director of the video for OutKast’s 2003 worldwide hit ‘Hey Ya!’.
The band’s new album, featuring music from the film, is released on August 21, also titled ‘Idlewild’.
