Outkast's Big Boi, Primal Scream, Little Boots for SXSW 2009 Day Two

Outkast rapper Big Boi, Primal Scream, Little Boots and Black Lips are among the acts who are set to play live on the second day of the South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas today (March 19).

Big Boi will play a late-night solo show at the Austin Music Hall at 12:40am (CMT) tonight, where he is expected to play material from his forthcoming new solo album.

Primal Scream will play a similarly-late show at the Ceder Street Courtyard, at 12:30am, Little Boots will play one of several SXSW shows at 6:45pm at Malverde, while Black Lips play the Ceder Street Courtyard roughly an hour before Bobby Gillespie's band, at 11:25pm.

Earlier in the day legendary producer Quincy Jones will give the festival's keynote speech at 2pm in the Convention Centre

Other highlights of the schedule today include Crystal Stilts at Urban Outfitters at 1pm, NASA at 6pm at Bird's Barbershop and Cold War Kids at the Auditorium Shores at 7pm.
