Bus bursts into flames on way to Oxegen
Fans have lucky escape travelling to festival
Oxegen Festival-goers escaped unharmed after a bus burst into flames on the way to the event today (July 11).
The vehicle was travelling to the festival site near Dublin from Newry, County Down, when it caught on fire.
The fans' possessions, including tickets, were destroyed in the blaze, but none of the 40 passengers were harmed.
The incident, which happened just outside the Irish capital, plunged the M50 road into chaos and caused delays, although event organisers MCD were eventually able to send a new bus to pick up the festival-goers.
