The UK garage star has been bailed to return in August...

NEUTRINO, one half of the UK garage duo OXIDE & NEUTRINO, must report back to police in August in relation to a shooting incident in LONDON, which left him with a flesh wound to the leg.

As previously reported on NME.COM, Neutrino was shot in the leg after leaving a central London nightclub earlier in the week (May 2).

According to his press spokesperson, Neutrino admitted himself into a local hospital, where staff notified police because of the nature of his injury. He was then arrested and taken to Charing Cross Police Station, where he was treated by a police doctor and questioned, before being released without charge.

It has now emerged that Neutrino has been bailed to return to the station on August 1.

A statement has been issued by Neutrino's solicitor, which reads: "Neutrino was arrested on May 2 2001, and questioned by police at Charing Cross Police Station about alleged possession of a firearm. He was released on police bail to retun to Charing Cross Police Station on August 1, 2001. Because of obvious legal reasons there can be no further comment until after August 1."

Oxide & Neutrino have topped the UK charts in previous months with their 'Casualty'-sampling 'Bound 4 Da Reload (Casualty)' song and its follow-up 'No Good 4 Me'. The latter featured a sample from the Evelyn 'Champagne' King track 'No Good For Me', which was famously sampled on the Prodigy's hit 'No Good (Start The Dance)'.
