OZZY OSBOURNE could be played by actor JOHNNY DEPP in a biopic of the hellraising metal icon-turned-TV star dad’s life, if his wife and manager SHARON gets her way.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Ozzy is close to signing a deal with a major US film studio for the movie. It comes on the back of the unprecedented success of ‘The Osbournes’ TV series, which gets its terrestrial premiere in the UK on Channel 4 on Friday (November 1).
Sharon Osbourne told the Hollywood Reporter: "He wouldn’t be in it himself. I have a dream of who it could be but I don’t know if he’ll do it. He’s [Johnny Depp] , a brilliant actor."
A new series of the hit fly-on-the-wall series is to be aired on MTV later this month.
