Ozzy Osbourne and his wife SHARON have offered a reward of £100,000 to capture the thieves who stole up to £2 million of jewellery from their home.

The former Black Sabbath singer tried to apprehend one of the two burglars but he managed to escape through a first floor window.

Two gold wedding rings, a 24-carat sapphire, a 10-carat diamond engagement ring, two watches and a diamond daisy necklace were among the haul stolen before the intruders were disturbed.

Speaking at press conference on Tuesday (November 23), Sharon said: "I’m sure a lot of people will look at us and say, ‘Well they have got more money, they can buy it again.’ But the thing is we worked for everything. I came from Brixton, Ozzy Osbourne, came from not a very nice part of Birmingham and everything we have got we have worked our arses off for."

The couple showed photographs of the stolen items to reporters and provided descriptions of each piece.

Ozzy Osbourne, who had one of the intruders in a headlock before they escaped, said he was glad that no one was hurt in the incident.

He added: "I acted on impulse. I could have been like George Harrison. I could have been badly injured or anything. In hindsight, it could have been a lot worse. It could've got really ugly. I just thank God no one got injured."

The burglar was well-built and about 5ft 10in tall, wearing a ski mask, a light-coloured jacket and trainers, according to Thames Valley Police. No description of his accomplice has been released.
