Ozzy Osbourne has been lined up as the first artist to be honoured on Birmingham’s own Hollywood style walk of fame.

He will be at Broad Street today (July 6) while a handmade brass paving star is unveiled in his honour.

The ceremony takes place on the day of Osbourne’s concert at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.

One of the people behind the project Bill Bohanna said: “We are really delighted because he feels it’s an honour, which is good."

Bohanna told BBC News: “We feel it’s representing Birmingham. He’s a Birmingham lad and he’s done rather well for himself.”
