Jack Osbourne to produce Ozzy Osbourne documentary
The 22-year-old's effort will feature Black Sabbath interviews
Jack Osbourne is set to produce a documentary about his father, Ozzy Osbourne titled 'John' – Ozzy's real name.
The documentary will feature interviews with Ozzy's Black Sabbath band-mates. Jack told Rolling Stone that he was inspired to make the film because he thought the media had misrepresented his father.
"My dad's not an idiot — he's nothing short of a genius," he said. "He does have huge flaws, and we're trying to really paint an honest picture of that."
He added: "I think [reality TV show] 'The Osbournes' tarnished the public's perception of my dad as a bit of a senile, funny, bumbling guy. My dad can be that guy, but it's not him. I think that almost discredited who he is as an artist."
He went on to reveal that he will preview the film at Ozzfest 2009.
